The case up until size 132 included, is made from a die casting of an aluminium alloy, from size 160 onwards are cast iron castings. All our motors are multitension 230V/400V, frequency 50Hz-60Hz, insulated overall in class F, S1continous duty, have IP55 protection, ATEX certification for potentially explosive environments. The Motive motors are built with magnetic sheets instead of the usual sheets made of iron Fe P01. The magnetic sheets have performances far better than FeP01 sheets. In addition to raw material, the thickness of such sheets is another main factor that affects performances.
In fact, lighter sheets mean higher performances,
And the sheets of the TM series have a maximum thickness of 0,5mm instead of 1mm, like the normal Fe P01 sheet.
